July 1-September 30, 2020
RIDE ANYTIME, ANY DISTANCE AND ANYWHERE TO DEFEAT HOMELESSNESS!
July 26 was our originally scheduled date for the 2020 Cycle for Shelter. Due to the COVID-19 health crisis and the uncertainty that this situation brings, Emmaus has decided to transform the 32nd Cycle for Shelter into a VIRTUAL EVENT.
What does this mean? All participants will pledge to ride for Emmaus between July 1 and September 30. You can ride your miles all at once, or you can ride them over the course of the summer. Or you can choose to do your miles at home on a trainer or exercise/spinning bike.
During these times we are all craving community. Please sign up as a virtual rider and automatically become part of our Cycle for Shelter community.
The fundraising minimum has been waived, but we do hope that, if you sign up to ride, you will raise money to support Emmaus. We are anticipating a loss of revenue of more than $250,000 as a result of canceled events, increased staffing costs, and enhanced cleaning expenses due to COVID-19.
All riders who raise a minimum of $100 will receive customized Emmaus protective gear (either a face mask or stretchy neck gaiter). Those who raise more than $1,000 will receive a long-sleeved dry-wick T-shirt.
NEW THIS YEAR! Cycle for Shelter now has a club on the Strava App! We will have prizes for registered cyclists who reach their personal goals! Please join our team!

**Please note—we expect all riders to adhere to the safety and social distancing guidelines set forth by your home state. Please do not ride in groups until it is deemed safe to do so.**
