Welcome to My Personal Page

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
This year, with the uncertainty of the effects of the coronavirus, I will be participating in this VIRTUAL ride; hopefully riding the typical 100 miles (or kilometers) at least one day during this summer.
This year I would like to dedicate this ride to a great mentor and friend, Jeff Russell, who helped many of us train to get ready each year for the Cycle for Shelter event, Jeff was not only dedicated to cycling but was a constant volunteer at the Emmaus House; truly a person whose efforts made a difference!
----------------------------------------------------------
I am participating in the 2020 VIRTUAL Cycle for Shelter from July 1 to September 30, 2020.
I pledge to ride during this time to raise critically needed funds to support Emmaus programs that help families and individuals who are homeless rebuild their lives. On any given night, more than 300 adults and children call “Emmaus” home. Located in Haverhill, MA, last year Emmaus programs assisted more than 2,291 different people each year, including 1,016 children! Emmaus has been recognized in Massachusetts and nationally as a best-practice model for responding to homelessness.
Right now, Emmaus needs our help more than ever. Currently, Emmaus is on the FRONT LINES of the COVID-19 health crisis. Emmaus projects huge losses in its operating budget as the unforseen costs related to this global pandemic continue to rise. In addition, by moving Cycle for Shelter, Emmaus' largest fundraiser, to a VIRTUAL EVENT, Emmaus also faces a huge shortfall in next year's budget as well. We hope you will support my VIRTUAL RIDE, so that Emmaus can continue to care for and serve our community's most-vulnerable members.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
