Please Join Us for the 29th Annual
Cycle for Shelter!
Join 200 cyclists, more than 150 volunteers for this amazing annual event!
Some features of this website are NOT working properly on mobile devices, but are working on traditional computers and laptops. We are working with support to fix this issue and hope to have it resolved soon!
Our 29th Cycle for Shelter will feature 4 Routes, 6 rest stops, an amazing cookout at the finish line and FUN! But most importantly, Cycle for Shelter raises critical funds to support Emmaus, a non-profit community development housing organization that provides emergency shelter and affordable housing and support services to homeless and formerly homeless adults, families and children.
Since 1985 we have served more than 27,000 men, women and children Last year alone we helped 4,085 people—and of those 2,353 were children. In fact, the average age for a homeless person in Massachusetts is 8 years old.
We hope you can join us for this year’s Cycle for Shelter.
Please note that for the second year, the start and finish line will be at the Hartleb Technology Center at Northern Essex Community College.
And back by popular demand is our new 40-mile route!
Now, riders can now choose between the 100-mile, 62-mile, 40-mile and 20-mile routes!
And also new this year, is a revised 20-mile route! This new "New England Fun Ride" features a scenic route with gentler, rolling hills, and some special "New England treats" along the way. More information on this special new route will be announced soon!

We are grateful to all our cyclists and volunteers who believe in our mission. Thank you for making a real impact on the lives of those facing homelessness.

Reminder: All riders pledge to raise the minimum fundraising requirement of $250 by September 1.
This year we are implementing a "Delayed Self-Pay" system, which means that on October 1, 2017, we reserve the right to charge any rider's credit card in the amount needed to reach the $250 minimum. Please note that the registration fee does not count toward the fundraising minimum
